Born to an art-loving family, Shahrad Malekfazeli has been fascinated by the art of painting since he was a child. At the age of 15 he started to learn painting and drawing under the supervision of one of the greatest Persian artists, Master Morteza Katouzian. in 2003, he stablished his own studio and taught art for twenty years until moving to the US. Many of his students are well-recognized artists themselves to this date.
WESTAF approved as an artist with extraordinary ability, Shahrad Malekfazeli has participated in many international exhibitions and has won awards in many competitions including Art Renewal Center in the US, International Salon of Contemporary Art in France and Modportrait in Spain. His works have also been reflected in various International publications and TV reports.
